Sheila Ham writes from Kennedy Farms, the South Carolina homestead that gave Kennedy Farms Publishing its name. She is a nurse, a homesteader, and a woman who has carried love stories in her head for most of her life.
At night, after everyone else has gone to bed, I write clean, wholesome historical romance: stories of hard work, deep feelings, and two people slowly finding their way to love.
My current series, Blue Meadow Springs, is sweet, clean Christian romance set in the Tennessee mountains of the 1830s. Every book in it is a marriage of convenience, and each one follows a different couple, so it can be read on its own.
I also take the old Southern recipes my grandmother cooked with and bring them into today's kitchen: chicken and dumplings, pound cake, pecan pie and so many more, written out so anyone can make them, for one person or the whole family. For anyone watching their carbs, I've turned many of them low-carb, with all the old-fashioned flavor and the carbs counted for you.
My faith in Jesus Christ is a big part of my life and of my writing.
I love hearing from readers and cooks. You can write to me at kennedyfarmspublishing@outlook.com.
